Two Evils Do Not Make a Good

When we hold to a biblical worldview we understand the evil of abortion that it is murder and that Planned Parenthood is a proponent of this barbaric practice against defenseless children.

However, believers in Jesus Christ who hold to a biblical worldview should also condemn the murders over the weekend of three people at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs.

I am certain that true disciples of the Lord would not condone the murder of anyone and that the power to execute a lawfully convicted killer lies solely with the state not a self appointed executioner.

We do not know what motivated the suspect in Colorado Springs that took the lives of a police officer and two others, if it was opposition to abortion or a mental disorder. Regardless of the motive, the killings were not justified and the murderer should face a court of law and what measure of justice a human court can give.

It is important that Christians take a clear stand in this matter because we claim to value all human life. When we condemn vigilante justice or even senseless killing by a deranged person we are consistent in elevating all life.

We should still denounce abortion and Planned Parenthood as the godless, selfish and inhuman organization that it is, abortion must end and it must be ended as soon as possible.

By the same token we should denounce violence as a legitimate means of ending abortion because he who lives by the sword will die by the sword.
