Virginia’s Gov is OK With Killing Born-Alive Babies

The number of states passing death (abortion) legislation similar to New York state is heart breaking but as predicted by many Christian leaders, it is only the beginning of all out euthanasia to include the truly evil act of infanticide.

Make no mistake that is what is being proposed in the state of Virginia. Similar to the New York law allowing the murder of a child up till the time of birth, the bill proposed by Virginia House member Kathy Tran would allow, as Tran explained, a mother to outright kill her child right up to the moment of dilation.

But wait, there’s more. Virginia’s democrat governor Ralph Northam, actually believes that a child may be killed even after birth and that that decision should be between the mother and her healthcare provider.

Let me restate that, Governor Ralph Northam says a woman should be able to let an infant, born alive, die on the table if she decided she did not want the child. Watch the chilling statement by Gov Northam as he appeared on WTOP’s Ask The Governor

Again, the legislation gives the mother of a child the option to take the life of her child even in the throws of labor, yet no one has the right to oppose that decision to administer a lethal injection and watch helplessly as the baby dies a painful and horrific death.

Read the euphemisms used by this governor and note the argument for killing a child with deformities. Talk about evil:

This is why decisions such as this should be made by providers, physicians, and the mothers and fathers that are involved. When we talk about third-trimester abortions, these are done with the consent of the mother, with the consent of physicians, more than one physician by the way, and it’s done in cases where there may be severe deformities, there may be a fetus which is non-viable. So in this particular example, if the mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen, the infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if this is what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physician and the mother.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NB) pulled no punches in responding to such a view, “This is morally repugnant,” Sasse said of Northam’s comments. “In just a few years, pro-abortion zealots went from ‘safe, legal, and rare’ to ‘keep the newborns comfortable while the doctor debates infanticide.’ I don’t care what party you’re from — if you can’t say that it’s wrong to leave babies to die after birth, get the hell out of public office.”

What evil has possessed our governments that we can return to the days of out and out eugenics. This idea that a woman has the power to kill her children and any point up to and including delivery of that child should be opposed by Christians, even and especially men.

This idea that because men are not the ones giving birth, they have no say in the lives of their children is absurd. Men are duty bound to protect life at every stage. They are to stand for the weak and protect the defenseless.

The wrath of God is on the horizon as we double down on this evil of killing children. Israel was not spared and neither will we. It is time for believers to speak out loudly but also humble ourselves and pray.
