Don’t Let the Media Steal the Election

The latest super Tuesday election results are in and Donald Trump is the presumed winner if you were to believe the media analysis following Trump’s victories and the resignation of Marco Rubio from the presidential race.

But wait just a minute here, Mr. Trump still has 500 delegates to win over and Ted Cruz is but 200 delegates behind. You may have noticed how little the media over all has spoken of Senator Cruz and how Mr. Trump is everywhere, that is because the Donald does not win in a head to head with Hillary Clinton while Cruz wins, we are being played.

Most of the main stream United States media holds to a godless and liberal mindset, they are losing influence but the screen time still matters and this is what they count on.

At our heart, most people want to believe the people on radio, television and the movies because they are personable even likable, regardless of their worldview and of course this is dangerous.

The Apostle Paul warned the church to be careful of persuasive words, instead believers are to be grounded in the truth, knowing in whom we have trusted. I want to be clear that I hold no illusions when it comes to politicians after all, Will Rogers defined politics by breaking it down into poly meaning many, and ticks meaning blood sucking insects so I am even wary of Ted Cruz.

But I believe that we should not allow the media personalities or even our favorite news websites choose the next president of the United States. Just because we have seen Donald Trump on our TV and movie screens for decades now does not mean he should be president.

Take the time to pray and even fast about who we should elect as our president and don’t believe for a moment that because another “Super Tuesday” has come that it is over. Your vote counts even if you cannot cast it until June, which is just wrong by the way.

While I believe we are in a post Christian America and even a post American era, we must fight for every inch of ground until there is no more fight left in us and even then we should fight some more. The enemy does not win but he looking to take as many with him as he can, so we must stand up to him and save as many as we will.

Because it is worth it in the end.
