Elul 29 The End of the Shemitah and the Beginning of Jubilee

9-11-skylineIt has been 14 years since the attacks of 9/11/2001. It was nearing the end of the Shemitah when the attacks occurred and like today, some saw it coming but most did not.

Much has happened since that day, but still we do not take the warnings seriously. Millions of refugees are pouring over the boarders in to Europe and now the United States and few officials are noticing that many of those supposedly fleeing Syria and other ISIS controlled areas are men, young men.

While the media focuses on the plight of children, it is interesting to note that many of the photos show more men than would usually come over with women and children. Could we be witnessing an invasion without uniforms?

But there is more to note during this fragile time.

The United States of America has not learned the lessons or heeded the warnings of the last two Shemitah ends. America and her people have been warned by the Lord that her protection was conditional and it is now time to pay the bill.

We have not heeded the call to repent from our sin. That sexual immorality to include having children out of wedlock, divorce, homosexuality, pornography ect., should cease, murder, thieveries and drug use should be turned away from.

What will happen in the next few days, the Lord knows. The time for national repentance has now come to an end. America may continue but without the blessing and protection she once enjoyed.

Now begins the year of Jubilee for Israel. That does not mean Israel will not have trouble and sorrow but I would be willing to bet she will see land returned to her like during the last year of Jubilee in 1967.

The stage is being set for a change in the world. I compare America and Israel to John the Baptist and Jesus. The scriptures equate the Messiah to Israel, they are interchangeable.

Since the arrival on the world stage of the modern state of Israel one thing has been increasingly true.

America must decrease so that Israel may increase.
