President Donald Trump is much like President Barack Obama when it comes to Middle East policy, especially when it comes to Iran and Israel.
The Trump White House announced it would not be moving the embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem at this time, a violation of one of Trump’s most dramatic and direct campaign promises.
They also announced that the wavier of sanctions on Iran would be extended and that the Iran nuclear agreement would stand pending the president’s review but that much would likely remain unchanged.
It is dangerous for any US president to oppose the Lord and His establishment of Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol and just as dangerous to allow Israel’s enemies to go unchecked when we have the power to oppose their threat.
