2 Thessalonians 2 describes a falling away that must occur in the last days before the revelation of the anti-Christ and the return of Jesus Christ.
Could such a rebellion be occurring right now? According to the Guardian, morality and law must now be determined by subjective and popular opinion, the bible is no longer the standard for such things.
This sounds like rebellion to me.
The Lord set out such a prophecy of rebellion in the pages of the bible making clear that such a falling away would bring about the appearance of the lawless one, the one who denies the authority of scripture just as the writers at the Guardian advocate.
