New Poll Shows How Nearly Every Christian Group Has Changed View on Homosexuality

The bible warns that just a little yeast leavens the whole lump of dough and that is what is happening to Christian communities and their attitudes on homosexuality.

The latest release of Pew’s Religious Landscape Study found that from 2007 to 2014 Christians overall saw a 10 point swing from 44% agreeing that “homosexuality should be accepted by society” to 54% with the biggest change in view happening among Catholics.

Catholics went from 58 to 70 percent while Protestants who do not hold to the inerrancy of scripture went from 56 to 66 percent in accepting homosexual acts in just seven short years.

Even evangelicals were somewhat affected by small upticks in acceptance of homosexuality but remaining below 50% along with Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The primary reason for the change within the body of Christ is the Bible Factor, without sound doctrine the church is blown every which way by popular culture and the need to conform to this world.

This has allowed the teaching and normalization of immorality in our schools because the biggest shift in thinking has occurred among the young that have matured into adults in recent years.

Having studied Ephesians 6 just tonight it is because we have fewer fathers to bring up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Without fathers filled with the strength of the Lord, there is no one to challenge the godless teaching found in today’s schools. Dads have been emasculated to the point they are no longer defenders of their families faith and so the faith is waning.

It does not have to be this way. Men it is time to stop the madness, stop being self centered and put on the armor of God. We can be gentle but strong defenders of our little girls and boys, even if they are not so little anymore. We can be courageous and we don’t have to apologize for being men.
